From Greenwich to Korea-town…

Traveling 1,000 miles during one business day is no easy task- combine that with meeting in 3 cities, and you have a general idea of how my yesterday was spent. I woke up in Chicago, at the Westin on Michigan Avenue. Michigan Avenue in Chicago is the epicenter of all things hip and fashionable, and it is only fitting that we are evaluating a location for a potential club on the famed street. The space is great, flanked by some the the worlds top retailers, and gleaming new residential high-rises. I am excited to see new club locations in such prominent areas, it is really a testament to the strength of the elements brand. We already have clubs in development in the Northwest suburbs, we are following our approach of growing markets in clusters. Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle are all developing into hub markets for elements. The growth of our online magazine (www.elementsliving.tv) only helps to fuel the growth and brand awareness in each of these markets.
After a very productive early morning in Chicago, I was off to New York LaGuardia airport. I was on a tight itinerary today, and determined to be on time for each meeting. The balance of my day was split with two meetings, one with a potential development group at a country club in Greenwich, CT, the other with an international Asian development team, who had requested to meet at a restaurant in New York City’s Korea town. Today’s meetings could not have been more different - one a top tier consumer mecca, the next, arguably America’s most upscale market, and the third, Asia’s most fast-growing city. - but each (and collectively) demonstrate what I absolutely love about elements… the strength and passion of the brand, and of the people whom we are touching. All groups had a clear vision of how elements would successfully develop in their market, and shared the same excitement and spirit about the potential launch.
